How to Configure Eudora Lite (E-Mail Client)
[Celestial Enterprises is not just another Internet Service Provider]

This document describes how to configure the Windows E-Mail client (Eudora Lite v1.5.2), for use with Celestial Enterprises.

  1. Forward: This document assumes that you have already installed Eudora Lite.v1.5.2.
  2. Select: Menu Option "Special"
  3. Select: Menu Option "Settings..."
Under the Category menu selections
[Red Dot] Click on "Getting Started", and change the following;
POP Account: YourUserName@voyager.celestial.com.au
Real Name: Insert your real name here
Connection Method: [UN-CHECKED] Offline (no connections)



[Red Dot] Click on "Personal Information", and change the following;
POP Account: YourUserName@voyager.celestial.com.au
Real Name: Insert your real name here
Return Address: "Can be left blank." else "E-Mail address you want them to reply to."



[Red Dot] Click on "Hosts", and change the following;
POP Account:YourUserName@voyager.celestial.com.au
SMTP:smtp.celestial.com.au
Ph:"Can be left blank." else "Insert your phone number."
Finger:"Can be left blank." else "YourUserName@voyager.celestial.com.au"



[Red Dot] Click on "Checking Mail", and change the following;
POP Account:YourUserName@voyager.celestial.com.au
Check for mail every:Your choice. But 10 minutes would be a good starting place
Skip big messages:[UN-CHECKED]
Send on check:[CHECKED]
Save password:[CHECKED]
Leave mail on server:[UN-CHECKED] (You must remove your E-Mail from the server when you poll for it!
Authentication Style
Passwords:[CHECKED]
APOP:[UN-CHECKED]



[Red Dot] Click on "Sending Mail", and change the following;
Return Address:"Can be left blank." else "E-Mail address you want them to reply to."
SMTP server:smtp.celestial.com.au
Immediate send:[CHECKED]
Send on check:[CHECKED]
Word wrap:[CHECKED]
Fix curly quotes:[CHECKED]
May Use Quoted-Printable:[CHECKED]
Keep copies of outgoing mail:[CHECKED]
Use signature:[CHECKED]
Tabs in body of message:[CHECKED]



[Red Dot] Click on "Attachments", and change the following;
Encoding Method
MIME:[CHECKED]
BinHex:[UN-CHECKED]
Put text attachments in body of message:[UN-CHECKED]



[Red Dot] Click on "Advanced Network", and change the following;
Use asynchronous Winsock calls for
All non-database functions:[UN-CHECKED]
Database functions:[UN-CHECKED]
Network timeout after:45 seconds
Network buffer size of:4096 bytes
Cache network info:[CHECKED]

Once you have made all of the corrections. Then just simply Click "OK" for it to save the settings.
