Proxy Settings for Web Browsers

Select your Web Browser from the list below:
Internet Explorer (V5.0 onward)
Proxy setup for Netscape:
Back to the top- Select "Edit"
- Select "Preferences"
- Select "Advanced"
- Select "Proxies"
- Check the "Manual Proxy Configuration" box
- Select "View"
- Under "HTTP Proxy" type "cache.celestial.com.au"
- Under "Port" type "8080"
- Select "OK" to save the configuration.
Proxy setup for Internet Explorer V5 onwards:
Back to the top- Select "Tools"
- Double click "Internet Options"
- Select "Connections" tab
- Select "Dial up settings" tab
- Select "Settings"
- Select "Use proxy server"
- Enter the address "cache.celestial.com.au"
- Enter the port "8080"
- Click "OK" then "OK" to exit and save.
Proxy setup for Internet Explorer V4.0 onwards:
Back to the top- Select "View"
- Select "Options"
- Select tab "Connection"
- Check "Connect through a Proxy Server" box
- Select "Settings"
- Under "HTTP Address of proxy to use" type "cache.celestial.com.au"
- Under "Port" type "8080"
- Select "OK" and then select "Apply" followed by "OK" to save configuration.
Proxy setup for Opera V4.0 onwards:
Back to the top- Select "file"
- Select "preferences"
- Select "connections".
- Select "proxy servers"
- Tick "http"
- Enter the address "cache.celestial.com.au"
- Enter port "8080".
- Repeat the same process for "https" and "ftp".
- Click "OK" then "Apply".
- Proxy settings are now in place.
Proxy setup for Opera before V4:
Back to the top- Select "Preferences"
- Select "Proxy Servers"
- Check the "HTTP Proxy..." box
- Enter "cache.celestial.com.au" and for Port enter "8080"
- Select "OK" to save the configuration.
